Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry Issues "Do Not Destroy" Letters
The Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry has issued a series of “do not destroy” letters to a range of organisations or individuals that may hold information relevant to the Inquiry’s investigation.
The correspondence aims to ensure that information is preserved and retained, so that it is available to the Inquiry if and when it is needed.
This follows on from the notice previously placed on the Inquiry’s website about the retention of documents. These “do not destroy” letters have been sent out to confirm this message to bodies who may hold important information.
The letters also ask for information about volume of documents held, to help with the Inquiry’s planning.
You can read the correspondence here or find a downloadable version on the Protocols and Notices section of the website.
