Information about hearings
Hearings take place at Waverley Gate, 2-4 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh, and are broadcast through the Inquiry’s YouTube channel. Recordings of the Inquiry's previous hearings are also available to view.
Media enquiries related to hearings and the Inquiry in general should be directed to media@covid19inquiry.scot.
All documentary and other evidence produced at hearings will be made available in the Document and Evidence Library following the hearing in which they are presented.
Transcripts for each day will be made available after each session in our Document and Evidence Library, as well as on their respective hearings pages.
Attending a hearing
Hearings timetables can be found on the news page.
It is not necessary to attend in person in order to watch each hearing as they are available on the Inquiry's YouTube channel.
Anyone wishing to attend a hearing in person must request a place in advance by email to hearingsandwitnesses@covid19inquiry.scot. Emails should include the following details:
- Your first and last name(s);
- the date(s) of the hearing(s) you wish to attend;
- the core participant group you are linked to (if applicable); and
- your role (e.g. group member, legal/lay representative/member of the public).
Please submit your request by the deadline set for the specific hearing you are interested in. You can find the deadline and other relevant information about the hearings on the Inquiry's news page.
Information for witnesses and attendees
Information and guidance for witnesses, members of core participant groups and members of the public attending the Inquiry's hearings will be made available here.
