Inquiry publishes policy statement on its approach to equalities

The Scottish COVID-19 inquiry has published a policy statement setting out how it will consider equalities issues while investigating the devolved strategic response to the pandemic in Scotland.

This statement is designed to complement its trauma-informed and human rights-based approach and, because these issues are interlinked, the policies should be considered together.

The Inquiry will continue to work collaboratively with interested parties to increase confidence among the diverse communities it serves. It will continuously review its approach to equalities, learning any lessons that will enhance its approach.
