Inquiry publishes core participants’ closing statements for health and social care impact hearings
The Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry has published core participants’ written closing statements ahead of its final health and social care impact hearings.
Publication of the 24 documents precedes oral closing statements from Stuart Gale KC, Co-lead Counsel to the Inquiry, and supplementary oral closing statements from 17 core participants on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 June 2024.
The written statements are available on the Inquiry’s document and evidence library.

The hearings will take place at the Inquiry’s premises at Waverley Gate, 2-4 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh. Live transmission of the hearings will be available on the Inquiry’s YouTube channel.
